Please read these terms carefully before using our website or placing an order.
By accessing our website or placing an order with Rabiya Star, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Us
Rabiya Star is a fabric retailer based in Meena Bazar, Bur Dubai, UAE. We sell authentic Somali fabrics including Shela, Dirac, Gurgura, Garbasaar, Abaya, and accessories, both retail and wholesale.
2. Products & Pricing
- All prices are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes. Actual colours may vary slightly due to screen settings.
- We do our best to ensure stock accuracy, but items may become unavailable after an order is placed. In such cases, we will notify you promptly.
3. Orders & Payment
- All orders are subject to acceptance and availability confirmation.
- We only accept Cash on Delivery (COD) as payment. No payment is required at the time of ordering.
- A 10 AED shipping fee applies to orders below AED 200. Orders AED 200 and above qualify for free delivery within Bur Dubai.
- International shipping rates vary and will be communicated at time of order.
4. Tailoring Services
- Tailoring is charged at AED 37 per item (approximately USD 10).
- We will contact you via WhatsApp after your order to confirm measurements before tailoring begins.
- Tailored items are non-refundable unless there is a defect in our workmanship.
- Tailoring adds 3–7 additional business days to your delivery time.
5. Delivery
- Standard delivery within UAE: 1–3 business days.
- International delivery: 7–14 business days depending on location.
- We will contact you via WhatsApp or phone to arrange delivery time and confirm your address.
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur during peak periods or due to circumstances beyond our control.
6. Returns & Exchanges
- We accept returns or exchanges within 7 days of delivery for unused, unwashed items in original condition.
- To initiate a return, contact us via WhatsApp with your order number and reason for return.
- Tailored items are not eligible for return unless there is a fault in workmanship.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
- Refunds will be issued once the returned item is inspected and approved.
7. Wholesale
- Wholesale pricing is available for qualifying businesses. Minimum order quantities apply.
- Wholesale orders require a formal enquiry and approval process.
- Wholesale terms and pricing are confirmed separately and may differ from retail terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, logos, text, and design, is the property of Rabiya Star and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without our written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Rabiya Star shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of your order.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
